Please be advised that starting at market open on Tuesday (February 24th), there will be a feed change impacting how pre market volume is handled for US Equities. Previously, the prior day's closing volume was displayed until the official market open. Once the change is implemented, the volume for US Equities will be reset to zero at approximately 3:30 am ET and begin to update with pre-market activity. This only applies to U.S. Equities as Canadian equities already behave in this manner.
For stocks that trade infrequently, rather than continuing to display an “old” total volume day to day, where the stock doesn’t trade, the volume field will now be cleared out. You can simply look at the chart history to see the last total volume figure from the last day that stock traded.
