  • Futures and strategy analyzer

I have been using your back testing feature on future contracts such as "ES". In the strategy analyzer, net profit is listed as $ when it is actually index points. Since each of these points is really worth $50. My true profits would be 50 times what is listed -- less any commission. If I give any value to "Commission per Contract" it is evaluated against these index points instead of the true dollar amount. Is there some way I can give a value (such as $50) to each of these index points to make my evaluation more accurate(and allow me to include commissions).

I know that they are aware of that problem...I've gotten around it by entering into strategy analyzer contracts/shares = 50*number of contracts, which you seemed to have figured out already.

...and for commission per contract, you'll have to divide it and enter that number.
