    Scott and Matt,

Great input here. All your ideas are doable. I'll put together a new version shortly.

      Ok, here it is.

I opted not to include an option for H/L bars vs. histogram bars. For now at least. It didn't seem necessary as the H/L bars show the same results of the histogram bars to either side of the zero line plus the low info. Let me know if you really really need the option.

Anyway, it shows the H/L bars with the close and the thickness is adjustable via "Edit Studies." A blue dot will appear and stick to the top or the bottom of the bar for the $Ticki +/-24. It's thickness will match the bar's thickness.

Test this out with some real time data.

        Jason,

Can i bother you to make the option for histogram.
In hindsight i realize that the histogram is definitely what i need in order to see the visuals of time / volume relationship in the indicator pane. (Stupid of me to ask about the high/low bar earlier)

        * OPtion in edit studies to change colors if desired for the >500 ; <500 and -500<>500 bars ?

Also , not sure if going back to histogram were you able to elminiate the orange nob when a new data point for the $tick isnt available at the time of a symbol tic print ?

        Thanks

HOpe you dont mind the barrage of comments..

but im watching my es chart in 110 tics and notice that the tickitick indicator hasnt put forth any data yet as of 9.41 a.m which leads me t believe that it is waiting for 110 tics of $tick data before posting a bar in the indicator pane.

Is there any way to make the indicator post a reading every time that a new es 110 tic bar is posted? And if there is no fresh reading between es tic bars... just post a blank spot ?

This is really what ive been hoping for ?

            perfect !
            love it !

            thanks a bunch jason.

don't know if it would be easier to have a second version or the option for the histogram, to make somebody else happy too ;-))

are you sure you have enough data loaded ? using dynamic doesn't display anything for me either.
going to 5 or 10 days worth of tick data (time templates ) did the trick for me.

                Hi Matt and Scott,

We now have the option for Histogram vs. High/Low bars and options to control all the colors. There are a couple other minor enhancements in this version including the request to make the bar invisible until there is new data for the $Tick. Matt, you will probably want to use this version as well. I found a little bug related to the value of the high or low. It was getting returned as 0 instead of the true value. Give this a run.

                    Hello Matt,

You can turn off the study titles in the Chart Properties. Right-click on the advanced chart, select "Properties" and uncheck "Draw Study Titles."

It should be. What exactly isn't working for you?

                              hi,
Well with a tic interval there isnt really any lengthy historical data for the $tick in the indicator pane. But im seeing it work correctly going fwd in real time.

1 favor though... can you make it so that if there are 2 tic bars posted before the $tick changes... it will leave a blank space in the histogram rather than just repeat the current value.

So in other words... if the $tick is 222 when there is a tic bar... and then a 2nd tic bar is printed before a new $tick price comes out... it just leaves a blank space rather than the current reading ?

also the blue pop that you should see for the tiki above / below -24/24 is so tiny i cant even see it. Any chance to make that more prominent ?

I reduced the line length so the blue pop is tiny... is it too difficult to make it as an extension up in blue for another 100 tick equivalent points
                                ?
