eSignal 12x How to make an eSignal and EFS to email me when trigger occurs

I'm having trouble setting up my eSignal and eSignal EFS' to send emails to my main email account. I have my own email server and my email account uses authentication. Is there a trick to setting up eSignal to properly communicate and send emails? I've never been able to get these email alerts to work properly with 12.x. Please help.

Di you ever find out how to send an email from within an efs?

Does anyone know how to find out the correct setting for the email Application setting options:

1. SMTP Server
2. Host
3. Port
4. use SSL
5. use auththentication

Is there eSignal documentation on this topic?
