  • MOving Average of Willams indicator

    HI everyone,

I happen to be using William R indicator but since it is too choppy, I would like to smooth it by using a moving average of it. Does anyone know how to do this in Adv GET?

Thank you for your attention and help.

Williams %R is none other than a raw Stochastic [ie with no %K smoothing] on an inverted scale. A simple way to do what you want [which requires no programming] is to use the Stochastic indicator and set the %K value to the desired average length and set the %D to 1. Other than for the scale this solution will return the same plot as that of a Williams %R smoothed using a simple moving average
