I have a problem with ellipse.
I have read that to find the pivot from which trace it , I have to use the oscillator 5-35. How many bars the oscillator must be greater streght band (to identify the wave 3)?
do I take as first point the beginning of the wave 1 or the end of the wave 2?

you want the peak of wave 2 (which is often labeled as wave 2 bye the elliot wave plott)

you also want the extreme high or low point of the oscillator, They mention that about the strength bands as a way for you to pick a major point to draw from and not just some little blip.

are there other ways to confirm a wave impulsive from which to draw the ellipse?
Because I have seen that in some waves labeled as 3 :
1)the oscillator stays above the streght band for few bars and then it goes down
2)the ellipse fails
3)change wave count
