  • eSignal data vs Kinetick data regarding NYSE TICK

Does anyone know why the readings from the eSignal data feed are much higher (or lower, as the case may be) for the NYSE TICK chart than for the data provided by the Kinetick (a competitive data provider)?

    Thanks,
    Rusty

Which symbol are you using for this? Are you using $TICK or $TICK.NY-ST?
    Thank you,

      $TICK.

What is the difference between the two?

      Thanks,

$TICK.NY-ST includes resident and regional trading activity where as the $TICK does not.

Just to confirm my understanding, is $TICK constructed by eSignal? If not, who actually constructs the series?

          Thanks,

Thanks, Alex. I had forgotten about that one.

As a long-time QCharts user, I have to say I much appreciate the 1 sec update.
If the frequency could be increased even further (to say 4x/sec), even better!
