Running 11, 10.6 and IB together on one of my oldest computers, which is 5 years old, CPU usage runs between only 2% and 15%.

      cpu

It depends on the demands of the efs study, but I find the most common indicator of a problem is the memory usage climbs very high, as shown in the computer task manager.

        My system:
        cpu: 2600K @ 4.4GHz
        RAM: 16 GB
        HDD: SSD 120GB
        OS: Windows 7-64 Bits

Today I just tried out the newest V12.0.3485 x64 and all eight cores maxed out at 100% (Only one page with 9 charts open).

I have been running V10.6.2425 with the same number of charts per page x 4 pages with only about 30% cpu loads across 8 cores.
I don't know why? Should this newer version (V12 +) suppose to be multicores & run faster?

Does any body experience the same problems as I am having?

          Hi,

Do you have any EFS studies on the charts?

            Hi Eric,
            Thanks for your reply.
I found out that the problem was some of mine efs that was not declared properly in the premain section. After declared properly the cpu usage went down to around 15% which is what it should be.
            Thanks again, Eric.
