  • Data Feed

I have noticed that when I leave Esignal
alone for a half hour or so (not trading),
that the data feed will stop, esignal will
lock up and I will have to reboot the
    computer to start Esignal again.
What might I be doing wrong?
Also I have tried to download the latest
version of Esignal 3 times, and each
time the error signal that the server has
    timed out will occur.
    Thanks in advance. H. Hampton

    Hi H. Hampton.

I've left my eSignal running for hours and have never seen it lock due to inactivity. I wonder if your ISP times out somehow?

I'm also not aware of problems with our download page. Might want to check your firewall/security settings, test your ISP or perhaps contact tech support so we can take over your PC and see what may be going on.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the info. But I have at the
same time the TOS trading platform and
another charting program working along with Esignal and they work flawlessly while the Esignal feed will stop. Sometimes when I try to start Esignal the data feed will not start. The data signal window showing status will not engage.
Esignal data feed acts the same even when it is the only program working.
This makes me regret paying for Esignal in advance for a year.

I'm pretty sure a specific cause will be found. Something is clearly interfering with the functioning of the program. Please call into one of call centers next time it happens so we can take over your PC remotely and troubleshoot.

        Thanks.

Thanks for the info. A call to your support
center advised that I should download the
latest version of Esignal. I attempted to download 2 or 3 times with the Vista machine I mainly use. But had no luck.
So I tried to download with an older XP
          machine. Download was successful.
I ran the new version on the Vista machine, and this seemed to take care of the problems.
          Thanks.
