    In Qcharts 5 there was a very useful utility or file which I have mislaid (!) for linking historical futures contracts (one added text to it for specific contracts as they rolled). I would be grateful for the latest link to that and will it be different in Q6.

    I still think the retracement tool in Qcharts is great as many other charting packages do not project the lines from the end point of the swing but cover the period prior to that which clutters the chart and makes no sense.

    See this post by Larry Marchman which contains a link to his very detailed and complete primer on creating continuous contracts in QCharts 5.x
    QCharts 6.x uses eSignal's data which includes symbols for the continuous contracts of all US futures. To access these you simply replace the [month][year] code with #F eg ES H7 is the March 2007 contract of the E-mini S&P and ES #F is the equivalent continuous contract.
