  • TS2Ki time change-charts not reading the first hour

    system used: TS2Ki GlobalServer 5.00.0822
eSignal data: CME symbol: SP M7,ES M7
Used in Eastern Standard Time Zone EST

Before my current problem I only had to change:
    From Chart.
File > Desktop Options... > General Tab
    Offset from datafeed time:
    During Fall,Winter,Spring or Daylight Savings
the offset is "-240" without the quotes of course.
During Spring,Summer,Fall or Non Daylight Savings
the offset is "-300" without the quotes.

I am not having problems with ES M7 for I only
read the Bid,Ask,Trade Time. The Time is good. EST.

    My Problem:
My charts do not show data until 10:30 EST.
The time at the bottom of each chart is correct.
The main time at the lower right seems correct (GMT-5)
    I check data by:
GlobalServer and click/highlight SP M7 then,
Edit > Edit Symbol > From the SP M7 Box I select the
Load Data From: To: for 031207 only and click Load Data.
I am collecting data for the hour I do not see in charting.
Charting is not seeing this data. Can you help?
I have tried the suggestions in these threads I read but they
either do not work or the procedure is vague.
I feel 2Ki needs a program patch and does not know about the
new change in daylight savings time. Please help.
    Thank You.

If the Exchange(s) of the symbols you are charting are in the US then you will need to edit the Daylight Saving Time settings for each of those Exchange(s) in GlobalServer. This modification is necessary due to the change of dates for the Daylight Saving Time.
See this thread for a description of the steps you need to take. More information on how to edit an Exchange can be found in GlobalServer's Help file.

eSignal is always the biggest of help.
I've been with eSignal/Data Broadcasting since
1992. DBC got me started in the wonderfull
world of trading and since 1992 I have only had to call
about 4 times. Each time DBC provides a resolution.
eSignal is the greatest, thanks again.
If I can help anyone please feel free to contact me at
http://www.webtvus.com I have worked with many
from eSignal using TS2Ki in writing Easy Language etc.
