First - what to do to make it connect as ususal?
Second - what are FA data operations and what are FA customers?

    Hope somebody can help.

I'm guess you're unable to connect to your IB account because you're using the latest version of TWS 948.2 from January 5, 2015. There is a bug in this version that Interactive Brokers is investigating. For now you'll need to downgrade to TWS 947 or earlier.

FA customers are generally recongized as Financial Advisor, but linked or family accounts falls under this same type of user. The message you're seeing just mean that at this time, since the account is not connected there is no FA account information is being passed. It's not an error you need to be concerned with at this time, and it would not prevent you from connecting or hamper your ability to trade.
