    $ADV

I have eSignal and am using Dynaloader to bring in the realtime quotes. I'm trying to setup Oddball for testing and when I put in the $ADV data from Esignal (in anything above 4 minute bars), I get every other bar starting at 0 - 4 and then spiking up to the actual price. I'm using natural hour bars. I'm stuck. Any ideas.

    Thanks in advance,

    Vince

      Backtesting

      Vince,

Don't use the ODDBALL_DO file for backtesting. Use Alexis' file (earlier in this thread) and follow his instructions. It should work fine. I will try it later today.

          ODDBALL-sig.efs...

OddBall-sig.efs should be used for backtesting.

            what time frame???

Brad - what time frame is working the best for you on the ES? Meaning the bar interval? 3-min, 5-min ...?

            Thomas.

This is for 60mn timeframe with time template 9h-16h set.

You can see good performances but remember that most of the performance comes from April(!)
