Windows Vista
We are in the process of testing Vista with different versions of eSignal as well as our entire product line. Preliminary testing shows that the latest eSignal release (8.0) is compatible with Windows Vista. However, Windows Vista will NOT be officially supported or added to our System Requirements page until we have fully tested Vista with our various products. We hope to have a fully compatible version by mid 2007. Here's some of the premilinary work we've done:
* Upgrading an existing operating system such as XP to Vista with eSignal installed, does not cause any problems
* Downloading eSignal on a brand new computer loaded with Vista works fine
* Vista's new interface causes eSignal's Icons within the title bar to be hidden (solution is to change your view to Classic)
We will provide additional updates here once more information becomes available.
