Dear QCharts Subscriber:
Back in April 2008, we moved the NYBOT / ICE service so that it would be available only on QCharts 6.0.x via the eSignal network. As you may recall, the reason for this was to give more priority to trades and quotes the vast majority of clients are using. With market activity continuing to rise by double-digit percentages each month, we need to take further action on Continuum’s fixed bandwidth network.
Starting on October 1, 2008, all futures exchanges except CME E-mini futures will only be available on QCharts 6.0 or later. If you have a subscription for real-time or delayed futures data, in order to continue to receive this data, you will need to upgrade to QCharts 6.0 by downloading the latest version from the QCharts Download page (http://www.qcharts.com/download).
QCharts Monthly Rate
Also effective October 1, 2008, the QCharts Plus monthly rate will be increased by USD10.00 (not including exchange fees, taxes, Market Depth fees or Delayed Bundle fees, if applicable). Your new monthly subscription rate of USD129.95 will take effect on your October billing cycle date.
The last price increase for QCharts was nearly 5 years ago, approximately 3 years prior to eSignal’s acquisition of Quote.com. During that time, U.S. trade and quote data rates have continued to double year-over-year, leading to increased infrastructure and bandwidth costs. In addition, inflation and other global currency effects have led to the need to increase the subscription rate.
Future improvements for QCharts include a complete migration of all historical, fundamental and analytical data onto the eSignal network, which offers vastly improved network redundancy, data accuracy and automated price corrections, as well as 125+ global markets.
