The Taiwan Stock Exchange has notified us that effective January 17, 2011, a select number (19 of 60) of Taiwan Index symbols will change. Any symbol containing _NEW will be shortened as shown below.
Please note that all historical and intraday data will be moved to the new symbols. Please update your charts, quote windows, formulas, tickers, DDE links, and so forth, with the new symbols.
