As a result of recent exchange mandates, the Tokyo Stock Exchange Derivatives are being phased out and moved into 2 different services, Osaka Securities Exchange Futures (OSM) and a new service called Japanese Government Bond (JGB) Futures.
The following changes are scheduled to go into effect on March 24, 2014.
Osaka Securities Exchange Futures - A subset of the TSE Derivatives will be moved to the Osaka Securities Exchange Futures service. The subscription fees for the Osaka SE Futures service will remain unchanged (USD2.00 for Non-Pro, USD18.00 for Pro per user/month). If you already subscribe to Osaka Futures you will simply need to use the new symbol (extension changing from –TPX to –OSM). A sample of the impacted symbols:
Japanese Government Bond (JGB) Futures – Bond Futures formerly included with the TSE Derivatives will be moving to a new service called Japanese Government Bond (JGB) Futures. JGB futures is included as part of the Osaka Securities Exchange Futures service (USD2.00 for Non-Pro, USD18.00 for Pro per user/month). If you already subscribe to Osaka Futures you will simply need to use the new symbol (extension changing from –TPX to –JGB). Otherwise you will need to add Osaka Futures to continue following the symbols below:
TSE TOPIX Indices – Several TSE Indices are moving into a new standalone service known as TSE TOPIX Indices (USD2.00 for Non-Pro and Pro users/month). You will need to subscribe to the new service in order to continue following the TOPIX Indices. The symbol extension for these Indices will change from –TSE to –TOP. A sample of the impacted symbols:
