  • Date Range modification

Referring to the DateRange.efs file in the help example (http://share.esignal.com/download.js...=DateRange.efs).

I want to use this type of code (with the ability to pass parameters in the study that change the date range) to be able to shade a certain time frame of my charts, but I want to be able to do it on more than just the bars that have occurred, or are occurring. In this study, it appears that the shading is tied to when the bars are present, and not simply to the date on the chart.

For example, I may want to shade a chart for the dates February 15 to March 2, but I want to be able to see that area of the chart shaded when I'm looking at the chart on February 5.

Is there a way to modify this code so that it is tied to the date on the chart, and can be seen as a future event, and not just tied to the bars?

    Thanks in advance.
