Hello,
eSig 10.6.2425 - Windows 7 64 bit - Excel 2010 32 bit
We have been having a problem with eSig 10.6, DDE and Excel. When eSig and Excel
are running, we get the following when we try to use our custom EFSs for data exchange
from eSig to Excel. 1) Excel does a white out and freeze 2) None of our EFS code works for data exchange
3) Putting WINROS calls (formulas) into the Excel spreadsheet causes a freeze.
After many hours of trouble shooting, BINGO!
You need to install BOTH eSig and Excel on the C: drive and let the eSig and Excel install using
the default selection of Drive and Folders. If not, WINROS will not see the data and cause all of the
problems.
If you want to use another drive or folder for eSig Pages or Formulas, that works BUT the basic install data
must be on the C: drive.
After solving this problem there was a bonus in that installing both eSig and Excel on our C: drive, the performance boost
was amazing in that our C: is a SSD.
Hope this helps some of you as we have been stumped for weeks.
