Any scripts/libraries to draw and calculate price & indicator trend line values

Hi,

Has anyone found a way to automate the drawing and returning trend line/values on price bars and indicators.

In particuliar I'm looking for a way to build a fairly accurate line on an indicator and have a way of determining when the line is crossed.
