Flexible New Highs Lows

I'm very satisfied with eSignal. I wish, however, there was some way to track new highs and lows, and the number of advancing and declining stocks for a fixed basket of stocks (user-specified) over a certain time period (e.g., user-specified like 50 days or 30 days and perhaps intraday).

I can't figure out how to do this with scripts, so if there are ideas I'd appreciate knowing about them.
