I am hoping someone can help me figure out how to get a volume ratio EFS that works like the one in Tradestation. Jason K has a bid/ask ratio EFS which I have attached that comes close but is not exactly what I am looking for.
Tradestation calculates an EMA of the ratio between up volume and down volume. The EMa is then plotted as an oscillator around a zero line. Volume on the uptick is up volume, volume on the downtick is down volume. Formula is 100 * (uptickV-downtickV)/TotalV.
I know how to make some simple changes in an EFS, but do not have the skillset currently to program this EFS. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
