I know this post belongs in the EFS Library forum, but my question there isn't getting a response.
My opinion is that the McClellan Oscillator and Summation Index are core/mainstream indicators (as opposed to the many other indicators that are available) and that eSignal should provide up to date versions of these charts.
Most providers of these charts:
1. provide both ratio and non-ratio adjusted versions of each chart, and
2. have anchored the Summation Index so previous values don't change every day.
ESignal does not.
I have been trying to modify eSignal's McClellanOsc2.efs myself. I think I've got the solution for item 1 above, but I can't get the Summation Index to anchor (item 2).
My question is: Can this chart be anchored? I've spent many hours trying with no luck, so I'd like to know if it is even possible. If it is possible, any hints on how to do it would be appreciated.
