I'm a newbie and need help to determine what EFS formulas are available. I daytrade stocks on a 15S time interval, I view many stocks per day and setup each chart in it's own window before the mkt opens. I plan to use the same formula(s) for all charts. Here's what I want to do:
1. Horizontal Lines (all automatic):
*draw a line at "x" time based on the opening price for that time.
*this price will be rounded to the nearest .10cents.
*display this price on the chart.
*input this price into the Quote Window in "comments" field next to appropriate symbol on my pre-made list.
*reset this line if last price changes "x" amount.
*intraday hi/lo's, color coded.
I've found .efs studies: lineslabels, round number lines, tickbar time 2(3).
2. Alerts(automatic):
*based on prices from horizontal lines, get audible alert when stock changes "x" amount above/below the existing price indicated by horizontal lines (similar to setting manual alerts in the Alert/Status Window except it's automatic).
*could be based on the Quote Window and prices shown in "comments" field.
*could be based on barticks.
I've found .efs studies: alert, alert at x, alert 1(2), pricealert filewrite.
Will any of these formulas do what I want for lines and alerts and if so, how do they need to be modified? Are there others which would be of help? Plz advise, thanks.
