As we introduce EFS 2, we're making a version of the 7.9 Alpha installer available to our users. This is an early look at the version and may still not not be completely stable. Please only install this if you're interested in helping us test the new formula scripting and please report any problems or suggestions in this forum.
EFS 2 is an attempt to make EFS easier to use and more powerful. With this new piece of EFS, you'll be able to replace many lines of code with 1 or 2 lines in EFS 2. There is also the addition of being able to work with different symbols and/or intervals within a formula. As part of the installation, you'll find 2 additional folders in the Formulas directory. You'll be able to access them by right clicking on the chart and going to the Formulas menu. EFS 2 Basic is a set of sample formulas showing how simply you can call the basic studies that are part of eSignal. EFS 2 Custom is a similar set of studies with the additional code to make use of different symbols and intervals
You can access the installer in the EFS 2 Beta File Share Group. There are also other documents and information in that group to help you get started.
Since this is only an Alpha release at this point, our main concentration is in making sure the release is stable and not to spend a lot of time on new suggestions. As we move into a full beta, we'll start to look at that type of requests.
