  • creating efsLib files

    Hi,

Does anyone have any links to resources or requirements for creating your own efsLib files like the ones in the C:\Program Files\eSignal\FunctionLibrary directory?

As I understand it, with an *.efslib I can have code that is then called by a small efs in both the price pane and study pane without having to load a large efs in both.

An example would be: In order to replace a complex efs that uses several different studies to say; color the background, and having to load two instances of it thus using up alot of cpu capacity. Instead have two instances of a small efs; one in the price pane and one in the study pane, that receives a simple updated flag which can now be used to color both the price and study panes in a synchronized manner.

    Thanks in advance.

all you have to do is create a new file with a unique extension (something.efsLib)... then start copying over your efs functions into the Library file and you should be good to go.
