EFS files made with eSignal 10.6 Wizard worked fine on Windows XP Pro.
Got a new computer with Windows 8 and installed eSignal 11.5, 64 bit version.
Audible alert sounds not playing as they did in eSignal 10.6 on Windows XP Pro.
In response to "Error" message about a specific line having "insecure path":
Alert.playSound("C:\Users\B2\Documents\Interactive Data\Sounds\upslide.WAV");
I reviewed an EFS installed by eSignal 11.5,
Alerts Examples folder, AlertMA.efs
and modified my EFS files to:
Alert.playSound("upslide.wav");
Sounds still not playing as they should and do running eSignal 10.6.
Anyone have any ideas for fix?
