Here's an indicator that I use to give me a heads up while day trading. It's very quick to indicate negative tendencies in price against my position. There aren't any parameters to change because changing them doesn't make any difference on the zero crossing points, only in amplitude of the plot. I usually use >0.5 when short and <-0.5 when long as times to watch the price closely.
