  • Elders Triple Screen Question

    Hello,

Has anyone used Elders triple screen system on stocks less than $5 using intraday charts? Try as I might, I can't seem to find any trading opportunities with this system. I was just wondering if anyone has really successfully used this system.

    Cheers

    Hi Carlton,

I don't know the US markets at all and I'm assuming that low price US stocks are like low price UK ones ie mostly quite illiquid. If that is the case then they probably won't respond well to TA at all, liquidity will be too low, especially intra-day.

I could very well be wrong, but it's a guess

      Helen,

      Thanks for responding.

I have been practicing trading for a while now and you appear to be correct.

What is a person to do if they can't pay the big bucks for shares?

      Do you daytrade by anychance?

      Cheers

Well in the Uk we spreadbet

£1 a penny movement bet minimum and no commission.

        You could always move

          Helen,

I'm a Brit, living in New York.

What is spreadbetting? Do you use esignal to "Spreadbet"?

It's basically betting on stock prices. Have a look at this website.

You can't do it in the US it's illegal but you might be be able to wangle something informally if you have friends in the UK. You can spreadbet US stocks. Spreads are what they make their commission on but for UK FTSE100 stocks these are normal market spreads so no loss there. Can trade anything from commodities to currencies to cash and futures indices. Value anything you choose from £1 a point to £100 a point.

No idea why it is illegal in the US, seems odd to me
