With the release of eSignal 12.x we are pleased to announce the open beta testing phase for automated trading functionality within our eSignal Formula Script (EFS) language. During this beta testing phase EFS-AT is only supported for Interactive Brokers, eSignal Futures Trader and the eSignal Paper Broker. This new functionality requires a special entitlement, which needs to be added to your eSignal account. If you are a developer and interested in participating in this beta, please email R[email protected] with your eSignal account information to request the EFS-AT entitlement.
Use of this feature is at your own risk. Automated trading comes with a high degree of risk and Interactive Data is not liable for any losses related to the use of this feature. We strongly recommend testing against simulated and paper accounts during this open beta. However, the EFS-AT entitlement will allow you to route orders to live accounts.
Guidelines for forum threads:
Please try to keep each thread unique to the topic described in the title of the thread. When in doubt, feel free to start a new thread. This is especially helpful for our support and QA staff when tracking issues in our internal systems. If a single thread is used to discuss multiple bugs or new features, they can easily get lost in the process.
When posting about a potential bug, please also provide a complete working EFS example and all the steps necessary to replicate the issue, including chart setup, symbol, interval, time template, etc. If possible, please include pages, screenshots that may help in further illustrating the issue.
