Volume sync on tick charts

Hi, when I view an advanced tick chart (say ES), I have the 'Connect Dots' for Bid/Ask unchecked on 'Edit Studies'. When I do this, the volume scrolls by still showing the bid/offer changes thereby getting out of sync with the trades. How can I keep the volume in sync with what is happening on the chart?
