    cookcpu,

The eSignal Paper Trading using Data Manager as it source for accessing data, so if you're getting a disconnect on the eSignal Paper Trading it would indicate that your data Manager (eSignal) is also disconnecting.

There is no way to disable the Paper Trading but you can use the Trade --> Preferences to change the default broker option away from the eSignal Paper Trading. This will stop the Disconnection Notification from popping up.

To change the default options click on Trade-->Preferences in the Integrated trading Window highlight eSignal Paper Trading and on the bottom left click the Clear Default Button and then click Close.

Not only is the paper trading function which I never use severing esignal's connection with the data manager, it's knocking me offline and terminating my broker's connection with my DOM. All day today I was either knocked offline or ticks lagged by sometimes as much as 3 ticks.

          It's untradable. Point blank.

I've been happy with esignal, until 10.4, but if this isn't fixed, and soon, I have to go some place else.

          And it's not my computer.

            JDS_72,

As I mentioned in the previous post the eSignal Paper Trading access the Data Manager for the data, it does NOT have the ability to disconnect the Data Manager.

If you’re seeing frequent disconnects of the Data Manager and the eSignal Paper Trading you'll want to look at your connection to the Internet. They are both a good indication something is not right.

If you do not use the eSignal Paper Trading I would suggestion to you as I did cockcpu to clear it as the default broker and disable the notifications so that it's not a distraction to you and your trading.
