Hi,
I am trying to set up the alerts and i always seem to get the same message.I have tried 2 smtp servers that is installed onto the pc and is sent either to 127.0.0.1 or localhost. And the alert appears to be sent to the software successully but it cannot send the alert to my email address
error message i get:
"socket error 10060 connection timed out" in one of the softwares and the other jsut takes a really long time before the sending of the email doesnt succeed.
i tried it on ym #f symbol, and i chose "last trade price".I tried to enter 1 and also 2 prices but the only price option boxes were for the high and the low,but the alert does show up as a popup and it is send to the smtp server with a resulting error message above.
what is wrong??
i have checked online and the only about socket 10060 is that you need to use port 587,which also does not work.
I also tried gmail as mentioned in the KB with the smto address mentioned there as well as imap.googlemail.com.
Can anyone suggest an smtp service ?
Thanks
