eSignal 10.6’s research content is comprised of a blend of our own in-house research and a variety of data from third-party research vendors and suppliers. On occasion, we may change vendors and display formats as we find improved or enhanced services. Such an event is planned to occur in September 2010 with a handful of our research links. Below is a list of new features and various areas that you will see changes to once this change rolls out this month.
Economic Calendar New!
Provides a look at today’s key economic reports and events such as the Consumer Confidence Index and FOMC meetings. This also includes consensus values and scheduled events in the future days and weeks.
Company Profile
The Company Profile page is changing to a more condensed format, and the links across the top are being removed as this was duplicate (and sometimes contradictory) with the links under Fundamentals & Analysis.
Analysts Recommendations
This is being renamed to “Analyst Ratings”, is also being condensed and the headers are being removed. The content that the headers had was a duplicate of the Research Summary (under Fundamentals & Analysis) and is being moved to other independent web pages for a more consistent view and structure.
Insiders
This is being renamed to “Ownership”, and is being changed to a more macro-level view of the company’s insider and institutional trading.
Top Holders
This page is being removed as this data vendor is no longer being supported.
