Can I link a chart tool to all open charts simultaneously

I keep as many as 10 charts open at the same time and wonder if I could apply a chart tool, (like decrease bar spacing) at the same time to all open charts and not only to the one chart which is activated. I have tried the link tool, it did not work for me. The tool was still only applied to the activated chart. Please advise.

Some tools (Autoscale, Bar/Candle/Line, Logscale, Bar Width, Bar Spacing, Reset, Cursor Window, Snapshot, Crosshair, Time Templates) can be applied concurrently to all the open charts. To do that keep the <Ctrl> key pressed while using the tool.
