I live outside of USA and am a subscriber of eSignal EOD data and so are many people on this Board and posted the same problem and many more who haven’t seen this kind of posts and complaints.
Our problem is that all the intraday data plotted by Advanced Chart have strange timings on X Axis which is neither EST or CST or PST.
Instead it starts at 12:00 Midnight goes on for 1.5 Hrs and starts back again at 7:30 PM and goes on till midnight again.
It is very difficult to do any kind of technical analysis with strange timings. ( Please see the attached Chart )
(1) How hard is it for eSignal programmers to include a code that will correct this problem?
(2) Why many other free data services are able to provide data in EST and not eSignal?
(3) Is eSignal going to do anything about this in their future version updates?
(4) If nothing can be done is this data at least in a continuous format except the time stamp so that I can use it to do at least some technical analysis?
