Alert Sound Problems

[Momentum]

I get hardly audible sound when my alert is elected. Sound is fine with other apps, have tried reloading drivers as suggested in knnowledge base article, have tried different sound files.

I am using a laptop and have it configured correctly and all drivers come up OK in device manager.

Anyone else resolved similar problem?
