  • Getting Tick Data Older then 10 Days?

    Greetings,

Is there a way to pull a tick replay EPF file that is older then ten days? Or if there is an archive somewhere that'd be zesty. (looking for YM, ES, NQ). I guess I should of been downloading them every 10 days but I didn't know about the limitation back then.

    Enjoy Sprite

    Hello Geoff,

We only carry 10 day of tick data currently. That is all that you will be able to download through the tick downloader. There isn't an archive available. You will have to download on a periodic basis and combine the tick files into one through a text editor and store your own history locally.

      120 Day Limitation

      Ok thats what I thought.

I have been using the back tester and the most data I can get on a 2m chart is 120 days. Is there any way to back test with that tool for a longer time then 120 days? I'd feel more comfortable about testing the system for atleast a 1 year period.

P.S. As for the tick files, what about downloading from another data vendor and converting them over to esignals format somehow.. Grr sounds like a lot of work.

        Hello Geoff,

At this time 120 days is the maximum history that can be back tested. Also, importing data from another vendor is not currently possible.
