Heading in a dynamic quote file?

Is it possible to create a heading in a dynamic quote file?

I have a quote window that I populate with a dynamic quote file and I would like to break it into separated groups each day. Is this possible?

Hi Chud,
Your question is a bit unclear, but if I'm reading it correctly you can add a different headings on you quote window.

This can be done by clicking Edit on the main menu bar and selecting insert heading. this will add a new heading on the highlighted line.

The second options is if you wanted to label a select group of symbols such as Transporation stocks, or Electronics. You could group this together under a label. Tp comment out a line use pound sign (#) in the symbol column and hit enter.

Yes, you can create headers or different sector headings. In the quote window. Here's how:

In the symbol column, click on an empty row, then press Shift 3 for pound "#" sign. The entire row should highlight. Type in the name of the section. Then press enter on your keyboard.

If you need to insert a new row in between symbols, right click on the symbol where you want to insert the new row, a menu will appear. At the bottom of the menu, look for "Edit". Place your mouse on "Edit" and then click on, "Insert Row".

I didn't make myself clear. I was looking for a way to create a heading from within the text file.

The part about starting the line with '#' answered my question though. Lines in the text file beginning with '#' create a heading - just what i wanted.

Within the text file, add '#' to any line you want to be a header.
