Advanced Chart Function

Yesterday, while holding down the left mouse button and
draging the body of the chart, I was able to expand and
contract both the x and y axis simultaneously.
However, after releasing the button I was unable to
replicate this function. Was this just a fluke, or is there really
a way to do this?
This function is available in brand x, and if it is possible in
eSignal's advnced charts too, would someone be so kind
as to tell me how to enable this function.
