Thanks for the imput. To DionLoy my email is thru AOL. I have AOL DSL. I have called them and MSN and SBC. These are the dsl providers in my area. None of them will give out the SMTP address. I tried Outlook Express also with no luck. I have a Nokia 3390 cell phone that can except text messages. My cell service is with T-Mobil. Most new phones and cell providers can send out text messages. All I did with DTN IQ and QCharts is set my alert and type in the email address for T Mobil. This is my phone [email protected]. They receive the email and send it to my cell phone as a text message. This is really easy and allows me to leave my computer and still monitor my trades. I hope you will look at this to see if you can add this to the alerts.

Okay, here's another way of doing it. If you're only sending alerts to your t-mobile account, we'll use their SMTP server. Put this as the SMTP address:

myemail.teamon.com

(port 25, if requested).

Try that and see if it will work?
