Crash

i keep getting a recurring problem but its inconsistent and therefore difficult to pin down the cause.....if i open a default chart and then type a new symbol i get a crash message which mentions winsig.exe......very little info......i've spent ages on the phone from the uk with esignal support who have uninstalled and reinstalled the program, got it working only for the fault to reoccur......

anybody have any ideas as to why this could be happening....

Which version are you running? And did they have you delete all the ini files?

Here's the directions for a complete uninstall & reinstall. It contains the info that FibbGann was referring to as far as deleting the .ini files. That may correct it. It also may relate to a corrupted default chart. You may want to try renaming the default.ach file, and start from scratch with a new Layout or Page.
