Ok, so I downloaded 7.6 (build 634) and now the scales on my S+P charts as well as many of the stocks I follow are all very strange. I have tried deleting the SPECS file and restarting...no change. My autoscaling is turned on. In fact I made no changes between my 7.5 and 7.6 versions. This is the same problem I was having with one of the BETA versions of 7.5 and it took a new build of the program to fix. I guess I'm asking if anyone else out there is having the same problem or has a solution for a fix. I would just reinstall 7.5 but don't have the install program anymore and can't download it from esignal.

Scales messed up with 7.6

You are not the only one. 7.6 has price-scaling problems which may be intermittent in nature, or depend upon certain conditions or instruments.
In my case, a 2 was added to the end of the scale numbers, where previously it was always 0.
There is a remote possibility that "fresh install" versus "update installation" could have something to do with it, but I doubt it. There have been previous price scaling issues acknowledged as bugs.

This morning I discovered that I also have scaling problems. This is new to 7.6. The YM #F is adding an extra tenth - e.g. 10480.8 instead of 10480. They seem to run in a series. So far it has only affected playback. By closing eSignal and starting with a fresh symbol out of playback mode I am able to get rid of the strange scaling. Just going out of playback mode does not resolve the problem.
Also noticed that running at a speed of 100 creates other display problems in playback mode. Slowing down helps the other display problems. Possibly these are related.

We have isolated the problem and fixed it in the development source code. When you download our software to your PC, the code gets optimized on your PC by a software compiler. It was during this process that the scaling problem re-appeared on some PCs. Since there are other variables at work, the new code installed on some PC's just fine, hence making it harder for us to duplicate. It's hard to say whether a re-install would resolve the problem or not for each impacted user. You will likely need the new code to solve the scaling problem.
We have not yet determined when we will make a new release available as we are working on other additions to the software but once we do have the plan in place, we'll update this thread.
Thanks.
