Rapid chart switching

Chart pages with different symbols on each page are VERY slow to switch because data has to be reloaded from server for each chart (i Think).
I only want 5 symbols. If I added a quote window on each page that included each of the 5 symbols, would that force continual updated data to be available and thus faster page switches?
