  • Market Profile bug?

I just started using Market Profile. 2 questions:

    1) Today the POC jumped from the middle - from the line with tpo's "yzABC" to near the bottom on "BCDE".
Is there a way to fix this, or reset the chart?

    2) When I was trying to split the tpo's, double-clicking on a letter gave me an error message "An invalid argument was encountered".
What is the fix for this, or is there a proper way of splitting the tpo's?

    Hi WaveTrader,

If my memory serves correctly, these two issues were bugs in previous versions of the software. I'm not sure what version of eSignal you are currently running, but I would double check to insure that you are on the latest build. These issues have been resolved in eSignal 7.6. eSignal 7.6 can be downloaded here. Thanks.

      Hi,

I'm running Version 7.91 (Build 732) and have both these problems. Has this bug been reintroduced?

I am using v7.9.1 and I still get the following bugs:

        1. After adding splits and then removing splits, it is not possible to split again without getting the "invalid argument" error. Resetting the timeframe with a ,30 (for example) allows "add splits" to be used again but only once.

        2. Having split a profile, a new column of letters begins every minute instead of stacking up according to the selected timeframe for the profile. This makes a split profile virtually useless.

        3. On a 1 tic resolution, it is impossible to expand the price scale after compressing it.

Is there any progress towards fixing these bugs?

Are these bugs going to be fixed in the next release?

All 3 of these bugs have been addressed in the alpha version we're currently testing internally. This is scheduled to be released in December, but will likely be available for a public beta some time before that. Please keep an eye on the eSignal Beta Testing forum for an announcement when the beta is available.
