Trading CURRENCIES, make it much more important to know your position at all times. I understand trading information can be put into a portfolio, designed more for equities and take up a lot of space. Currencies need more in view times. E signal already has a floating O H L C NET menu, in view on most charts on a multiple monitor system.

Would like to start with floating menu since it already tracks NET ✚ (GAIN) or NET ▬ (LOSS), to modify it to handle 10 to 20 day/night trades. No title bars are needed. Shown here for clarification. (please note use bold ✚ ▬ signs)

Military Sell Qty Sell Mo._Currency @Mkt Font - Arial 10, but (selectable)
Time Pos Fill # Ticket (NET @ ▬ 01or > Sound Alert, Background = Red = NET LOSS)
    11: 13: 13 | Sell ¥_1 @ 8160 # xxxx SEP_ SF @ MKT | NET ▬ 00 |
    11: 42: 13 | Buy £_1 @ 8117 # xxxx SEP_ SF @ MKT | NET ✚ 43|
Current Buy Qty Buy # Ticket
    Time Pos Fill

The Floating MENU has 3 divisions: section 1= Time, section 2 = Buy/Sell through MKT, section 3= NET ▬00 /✚ 43. All Characters = red on the 11:13:13 line, background = light turquoise. (Selectable) All Characters = blue on the 11:42:13 line, background = light turquoise. (selectable) Initially times 11:13:13 and 11;42:13 are in sync and read the same. Contract month, currency, and @ market entered before market opens and saved for next session.

At 11:13:00 call for a Sell fill and click, (¥_1 arrow) computer types in Sell and a dotted RED box is drawn around Sell ¥_1. This causes the prompt to finish at 1. Change contract # or if 1 is ok , TAB type in Sell Fill price 8160, hit TAB type in ticket # xxxx, ENTER. All background turns red except TIME= always light turquoise with red numbers and NET which will be BLUE = GAIN or RED = LOSS, all other characters turn light turquoise including the dotted RED box around SELL ¥_1. Enter freezes Military Sell Fill time at 11:13:13. This data line is sent to FLOATING MENU and MEMORY for complete print out history at days end and for viewing at any time.

End of day print out to include day, date, month .
    Sun 25 Jul 11:13:13 Sell ¥_1 @ 8160 # xxxx SEP SF @ MKT NET ▬ 00
    Sun 25 Jul 11:42:13 Buy £_1 @ 8117 # xxxx SEP SF @ MKT NET ✚ 43

At 11:42:00 call for a Buy fill and click, (£_1 arrow) computer types in Buy and a dotted BLUE box is drawn around Buy £_1. causing the prompt to finish at 1. Change contract # or if 1 ok, TAB, type Buy Fill price 8117, TAB type ticket # xxxx , ENTER. Enter freezes Current Buy Fill time at 11:42:13. All background turns blue except TIME = always light turquoise with blue numbers, all other characters turn light turquoise including the dotted Blue box around Buy £_1. Data line sent to FLOATING MENU and MEMORY for print history at days end, completing round turn. Program adds a line space in MEMORY to separate round turn from next trade, clears out Buy/Sell, FILL PRICES, TICKET #, and SETS NET GAIN/ LOSS to 00. Military and Current Time are the same and in sync.

If I wanted to reverse position, click £ arrow, changed 1 to 2 ( Buy £_2). MEMORY would look like this:
    Sun 25 Jul 11:13:13 Sell ¥_1 @ 8160 # xxxx SEP SF @ MKT NET ▬ 00
    Sun 25 Jul 11:42:13 Buy £_1 @ 8117 # xxxx SEP SF @ MKT NET ✚ 43 ( Buy £_1 =ROUND TURN )
    ( Line Space )
    Sun 25 Jul 11:42:13 Buy £_1 @ 8117 # xxxx SEP SF @ MKT NET ▬ 00 ( Buy £_1= New Position )

    (FLOATING ) 11:42:13 Buy £_1 @ 8117 # xxxx SEP SF @ MKT NET ▬ 00 ( Buy £_1=New Position )
    ( MENU ) xx:xx:xx Sell ¥_1 @ xxxx # xxxx SEP SF @ MKT NET ✚ XX ( Sel )

Starting a BUY position is essentially the same. Click, (£_1 arrow) first, code to exchange position of both lines. At the end of the day, a complete history of the TRADING DAY could be printed out for conformation. FLAT !
    2. Change date, time, lower left of chart from: Sun July 11 22:34:09 to: Sun 11 July 22:34:09 = quick recognition.
Working...
