  • Exchange changes in LiveCharts

Recently, the major stock exchanges made some alterations to the data they provide, and the cost of that data. These changes are now reflected for LiveCharts users. This is the original notice that was sent out to users about these exchange changes: http://kb.esignal.com/article.aspx?article=4571&p=1

To quickly find what exchange package you need for the Index or Indices you track, you can use our Index lookup page here: http://www.esignal.com/support/search_symbol.aspx

To get realtime data for the S&P 500 ($SPX) and others, you'll need to subscribe to the MDI package (Market Data Indices - $2/mo). This is part of the exchange changes that user's were notified of previously. Details of what you get realtime in the MDI are here: http://kb.esignalcentral.com/article...ticle=4558&p=1

To get realtime data for the Dow Jones ($INDU) and others, you'll need to subscribe to the Dow Jones Indices package (It’s free – but you do have to subscribe). Details of what you get realtime in the Dow Jones Indices package are here:

To get realtime data for the NASDAQ ($COMPQ) – you’ll need to either subscribe to the NASDAQ exchange package ($4/mo) or to the NANX package ($10/mo).

The North American Index Service (NANX - $10/mo) is a Real Time package that includes the NYSE, AMEX, and NASDAQ Indices (not stocks). It's designed for those that wish to access these Indices without having to subscribe to each individual exchange. The NANX is not to be confused with the North American Delayed Indices package which offers all North American Indices on a delayed basis at no cost. To see what is included in the NANX package please click here:

To get realtime data for the Russell 2000 ($RUT) and others, you'll need to subscribe to the OPRA package ($5/mo). Details of what you get realtime in the OPRA package are here:

You can add any needed exchange packages yourself by logging into your Account Maintenance: https://secure.esignal.com/maintenance.aspx?bhcp=1 Look under the “Services” area and then click “Add/Cancel Add-On Services” to add exchange subscriptions. Or you can call Cust Svc at 510-785-1254 or email them at [email protected] and allow them to add it for you. Once you have made the needed addition in your Account Maintenance and have logged out, wait 20 minutes and log out of your charts and then log back in to bring the new data in.

Feel free to contact support if you have add'l questions
