VIX / VIXN Futures?

Howdy gang.

Are VIX / VIXN futures available through QCharts / eSignal? If so, what are the symbols (the Sept 07 contract for example)?

The eSignal Network does support the CBOE Futures. When QCharts 6.0 goes gold (mid-Sept.), this exchange will be made available to 6.0 users. VX U7-CF is an example symbol. For more information, please visit the CBOE Futures Symbols Guide.

I'm not able to get that specific symbol to work (VX U7-CF) - get no response. I've tried various iterations ($VX U7-CF, VXU7CF, etc.) to no avail.

Is there anything else I should be checking?

Pardon the brain-cramp, Jay. I just re-read your response and I hear you now saying "mid-September".

Could you elaborate on your reference to "when QCharts goes 'gold'" and what it will mean to getting access to VIX futures?
