  • Maket Guide Fields

    I am on Qcharts 6.0.3.1536

Most of the market guides fields (Beta, Market Capitalization,
Book Value/Share) look totally garbeld to me.
    Take AMZN as an example.

A couple years ago, there was post from Jay
    showing the Esignal
network was supporting most of these fields and
they were available in an early QCharts 6.0.x release candidate.

    What am I missing?

    regards,
    alan

    Update -- I upgraded to 6.03.1550
Things look better: Market cap, shares outstanding, PE
look like they are being supported. Various other fields:
    Beta, Book Value/Share, are not.

An update on the plans (or not) for supporting this type of
basic fundamental info would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

We have an active project to bring in a number of fundamental fields into the eSignal network. I don't, as of yet, have an accurate ETA to provide on when this will be available, but do know we are actively working on this.

While we are one the subject, here are two fields
        on my wish list:

        1. Last ex-dividend date
        2. Next ex-dividend date (once declared)

To anybody who trades stocks or options, these are pretty
critical, yet systems often don't support them.

Another comment related to this issue of fundamental data.

I see that Market Capitalization is now abbreviated with
an M or B for $millions or billions. This is nice, but
it makes the field unsortable. For example, I like
to look at the hot list "US Stocks by volume". Then
I will look at this list 4 ways: sorted by percent change
(highest to lowest or vice-versa), sorted by tick volume,
and sorted by market cap. But I can't do the
          last one anymore!
