I recently built a new computer. Dual core, 2.8Ghz, 4GB of RAM. 1xPCI-Express 16x and 2xPCI video cards for 6 monitors. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate, 32-bit.
The only app I am running on the machine is Qcharts 6.2. With cursor tracking enabled, it is very ****y and slow on any chart. I do not have this on another machine with similar stats (except the other machine is Quad Core). When I move the cursor, I do see the CPU spike to 50% on one core and 25% on another, but not anywhere close to 100%.
It is virtually unusable!
Any help would be great. If the recommendation is to go to a quad core chip, I will.
Thanks,
Anthony
